Bernard has also enjoyed a long career, since 1988 in the South African Diagnostics market, having run both his own company for nine years and the local affiliate of a multi-national from December 1999 to January 2004.
He has diplomas in clinical pathology, microbiology and datametrics [computer science from the University of South Africa].
Roger Cocking – Operations Manager
Roger has been in the medical diagnostic filed since 1978. Roger has experience in working for multinationals as well as smaller diagnostic companies. Roger’s aim is to provide exceptional delivery service and technical back up to customers and has experience in a wide range of diagnostic areas. Roger has qualifications in marketing, sales and customer support plus is a qualified medical technologist in Microbiology.
Fimmie Reinecke - Product Manager
Fimmie has a M.Sc in Biochemistry, and is currently busy with her PhD. She specializes in molecular biology and has been in sales for two years.

Tessa is a qualified medical technologist and has been involved in sales for the last 3 years. Tessa worked in the microbiology laboratories of the biggest hospitals in Cape Town. Her region of responsibility is the Western Cape.

Jurie Maree – Senior Field Service Engineer
Jurie Maree started his technical career as a helicopter technician for the South African Air Force in 1991, where he obtained a National Diploma in Engineering. He is active in the diagnostic industry since 2000 and was employed at a large multinational company as Service Manager, before joining Pro-Gen Diagnostics. Jurie has experience in maintenance activities on a wide variety of diagnostic equipment e.g. molecular, microbiology, haematology and haemostasis analyzers.
Nicholas Musi - Warehouse and Distribution
Nicholas has been with Pro-Gen since it started in June 2004 and has worked in similar positions in other diagnostic companies. Customers have commented that the service and supply of products from Pro-Gen is done very speedily and wished that other suppliers offered such a good service.
